Nice to meet you
Bella Dahlheimer, (she/they), is an enthusiastic therapist who creates safe spaces for individuals to navigate challenges, validate experiences, and foster personal growth. Acknowledging that our past may shape us but does not define us, Bella helps clients gain insights, harness self-empowerment, and pave the way for a fulfilling and intentional life.
Comfortable serving individuals of all ages, Bella specializes in supporting children, adolescents, and young adults experiencing ADHD, anxiety, OCD, depression, PTSD, and those who identify as LGBTQIA+, neurodivergent, or from systemically oppressed and marginalized communities. In session Bella primarily utilizes DBT, CBT, and Motivational Interviewing, while also embracing aspects of Psychodynamic, Family System and Gestalt principles.
With a Master's in Social Work and a Bachelor's in Gender & Women's Studies, Bella has a strong foundation in understanding the needs of marginalized communities. Her background in education and social work includes roles as a School Social Worker, McKinney-Vento Liaison, and Sponsor for the Gender & Sexuality Alliance/PRISM Club, allowing her to hone skills in serving diverse youth and families.
Outside of the clinical setting, Bella enjoys spending meaningful time with her spouse, their 2 children, and their 3 dogs. You can typically find Bella voraciously reading, watching all of the Star Trek series while crocheting, knitting, or quilting. Bella also enjoys staying active by playing roller derby and coaching junior roller derby.
