    Brenda is a fun-loving and deeply compassionate counselor who appreciates the individuality of people and looks to guide and support those working to discover themselves, practice resilience, and achieve personal goals. Brenda has a special passion for supporting athletes, survivors of domestic violence, and members of the LGBTQ+ community.

    Brenda is a fun-loving and deeply compassionate counselor who appreciates the individuality of people and looks to guide and support those working to discover themselves, practice resilience, and achieve personal goals. Brenda has a special passion for supporting athletes, survivors of domestic violence, and members of the LGBTQ+ community.

    Brenda is eager to help clients identify core issues and find paths towards healing and growth. She believes in fostering a safe, compassionate environment where clients can explore their thoughts and feelings openly while also feeling comfortable to be their authentic selves. Her therapeutic approach incorporates cognitive-behavioral therapy and mindfulness practices tailored to meet the unique needs of each client.

     

    Brenda specializes in working with athletes, individuals in the LGBTQ+ community, and individuals who have experienced domestic violence.

    Outside the therapy room, Brenda is a former collegiate athlete from the University of Illinois who still loves staying active—whether it’s being in nature, reading, playing sports, or spending quality time with loved ones. These passions shape her holistic approach to therapy, highlighting the value of balance and connection.
