Hi, I’m Jessica.
I feel so fortunate to be invited into the sacred space where healing and change happen.
My style of therapy is active, engaging, and fun. Time is precious, so my intention is to make the most out of each session. Change is possible for those that seek it. Intention is required to initiate change, but with repetition, changes become automatic.
In my experience, so long as there is a willingness, change is always possible.
Jessica’s path to therapy is anything but ordinary.
She began her journey studying deaf education, spent three years living and working in Africa, and returned to the Midwest to dedicate her life to mental health. These experiences deepened her understanding that life is rarely a straight line. Instead, it’s a winding, often unpredictable journey, and every day holds the possibility for new beginnings.
Outside the office, Jessica finds restoration hiking trails, kayaking, and exploring nature with her family and dogs. She believes the natural world offers its own kind of therapy, one that brings grounding, clarity, and renewal.

Compassion in Action
When Jessica founded New Day Counseling over seven years ago, it was with one clear mission: to create a safe, welcoming space where individuals and families could find hope, healing, and the tools to thrive.
What began as a small practice has grown organically into a trusted resource in the community, built not by flashy marketing but by word-of-mouth from clients, families, and local partners who have experienced the care and results firsthand. Over the years, New Day Counseling has supported countless teens, adults, and families in navigating life’s challenges, whether that means managing anxiety, healing from trauma, improving relationships, or building resilience.
Through it all, Jessica and her team have remained grounded in their core beliefs:
Everyone has the capacity to grow, change, and heal
We recognize the inherent worth of every individual
We affirm everyone’s right to make their own choices
We recognize the power of being heard, understood, and empowered
At its heart, New Day Counseling is more than a therapy practice. More accurately, it’s a community of compassion, trust, and possibility. And every day, Jessica is honored to witness the courage it takes for people to step through the door and choose their own New Day.
